This entry is part 8 of 22 in the series The Major Arcana

It is a vehicle, but it is also more than a vehicle. It blazes a trail across the Spirit Plane and asks you to recognize your accomplishments. Its wheels are made of solid gold, its carriage of pure white alabaster with golden filigree adorning its length and breadth. It could be any vehicle, of course; the Universe is not limited to only just one form. But this is the form it has chosen for you.

You draw up close to it and inspect it carefully. You even step up into the compartment proper. There are no horses pulling it. In fact, there is no sense of what drives it at all, and you relax a bit when you realize that is an apt metaphor for your own life. There is no sense of what drives you many days, but yet, here you are.

Standing in the Chariot, you reminisce over everything you have accomplished to get here. Some days, it was enough just to wake up and keep breathing. Other days, you found more productive ends. You have endured traumas and hardships, seen friendships come and go, and have broken your back working on things — both little and big — that would further your goals and enhance your life. It hasn’t always been easy, but standing here now, you know it has been worth the struggle.

You step down from the Chariot, and it resumes on its way. You feel stronger, happier, more content, and more emboldened by the brief visit. You don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but you know that you are capable of handling whatever it has to offer.
