“Full moon tonight.”

“Yup.”

“You know what that means….”

“Yup. Werewolves.”

“No, silly. Moon sprites.”

“Moon… sprites.”

“Yes, moon sprites!”

“What are moon sprites?”

“You know, you put water out under the full moon, then the moon sprites come and dance and play in the water, which purifies the water for various rituals you want to perform.”

“I don’t think that–“

“And then when you drink the moon water, the energy of the moon sprites enters your system and purifies you, as well!”

“Seriously, I don’t think that’s how that works.”

“Of course it is, silly. I didn’t just make that up.”

“I think you did.”

“Naw, my gram told me that story when I was little.”

“I think she was just being entertaining for a child.”

“No way. She told me, and I believe her. Moon sprites are what make moon water special!”

“If you say so.”

“I do. Now let’s watch the moon rise and see if we can see any sprites.”
