Are you permitted to put programs on your computer at work? There are plenty of free programs that will handle .tar.gz files.
Unfortunately, no. They have all our computers here on ultimate administrator lockdown. The only I’m even able to use Firefox or Thunderbird is because I stumbled acrossed the portable app versions of them. I keep looking for a portable app version of a .tar.gz application, but so far, no dice.
